In this contemporary remodel, a floating curved soffit offsets a bold angular reception desk below it and guides the patient in a fluid motion from the reception area to the operatories.
The upper frame of the desk reveals an inner naturally illuminated form encased in translucent 3-Form birch resin. These panels form a lantern, catching sunlight from windows beyond, illuminating passively and bringing levity to the heavy, dark framed desk.
Down the hallway, a decorative corner niche with mirror-backed birch resin marks the separation between the two wings of operatories and connects back to the check out desk..
Textures of natural birch thatch and lively patterned carpet give balance to simple forms and a muted color palette.
