Smiles to the Sunny Summit

Working within a strict budget, this (5) Operatory remodel employs finishes designed with a fresh linear inspiration to contrast the strong spacial defining curves. The patient is literally drawn into the office by these welcoming curves and the doctor’s favorite sunny, warm, vibrant colors of the sunset applied in every room.

Re-purposed resin remnants adorn flat arches with focal points of local colors and organic linear textures. These arches act as spatial dividers, defining entry and seating zones within the curved soffit and reception desk area. Line patterns intersect curves throughout the plan as seen in the linear carpet tile, laminate striated wood patterns, striped accent pillows, faux leather paneling, and selected artwork.

The ceiling soffit curves are further expressed in the floor with recycled low cost/high value carpet tile directional changes, adding budget value by expanding the role of a single cost efficient carpet pattern.

Modern value-oriented light pendants reinforce the linear theme with lit vertical petals. At the entry these also illuminate the linear textured translucent panels from beyond.

"I really enjoyed working with Lynne. As a brand new, scratch start dental practice, I had some budget and time line constraints as well as unique building restraints to work within. Lynne had the vision and insight and was able to present a beautiful plan and design that could overcome these challenges. She was meticulous in every detail, from choosing quality material that fit my budget to to bringing out the best elements of my office space. Everything from flooring and lighting to paint colors and finish work came together beautifully and compliment my practice branding. I have an office that is warm, colorful and inviting to patients and comfortable and functional for me and my staff. I love my new dental office. Thank you Lynne."
